Cancellation Policy
Booking Policies – Fingerprints 101 Appointments: All services are by appointment only to ensure privacy and efficiency. Bookings must be made at least 4 hours in advance. Same-day bookings may be available depending on our schedule. Rescheduling & Cancellations: You may reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before your appointment at no cost. Changes made within 24 hours or no-shows are non-refundable and may require a new booking fee. Late Arrivals: Please arrive on time. Clients more than 10 minutes late may need to reschedule to avoid delays for others. Payments: Payment is due at the time of service. Some services (such as mobile or apostille) may require a deposit or prepayment. We accept major credit/debit cards, contactless payments, and cash. Identification: A valid government-issued photo ID is required for all fingerprinting, notary, and apostille services. We cannot perform services without proper ID. Fingerprint Quality: We make every effort to ensure clear, classifiable fingerprints. If fingerprints are rejected due to conditions beyond our control (such as worn or damaged ridges), clients are entitled to one free reprint attempt to recapture the prints successfully. If the second set is also rejected, a reprint fee may apply. Mobile Appointments: Travel fees apply. All parties must be present and ready at the scheduled time. Missed mobile appointments are non-refundable once travel has begun. Refunds: All sales are final once services are completed. Refunds are not issued for completed prints, notary acts, or passport photos. Privacy: Your privacy and data security are our top priorities. Fingerprints 101 maintains strict confidentiality for all client information, documents, and fingerprint records. We never sell, share, or distribute personal data to third-party vendors or marketing agencies under any circumstances. All digital fingerprint captures are securely archived within our SOC 2-compliant database, ensuring the highest standards of information protection and system security. Only authorized personnel have access to this data, and all information is handled in accordance with state and federal privacy regulations.
