FBI Background Checks for Immigration (EDO – Electronic Departmental Order)

We provide FBI Background Checks through the Electronic Departmental Order (EDO) specifically for immigration-related purposes. This service is commonly required by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for visa applications, green card renewals, naturalization, and adjustment of status.

We collect your fingerprints and securely submit your request to the FBI to obtain your Identity History Summary Report, which verifies your criminal history status and is often required to complete immigration applications.

We capture your fingerprints using a secure live scan device and submit them electronically to the FBI through an authorized channeler. Once processed, the FBI background check is authenticated for apostille certification. To expedite the process, we work with a trusted colleague in Washington, D.C., who personally hand-delivers documents for authentication—ensuring results are completed within 10 business days. Certified, tamper-proof apostille copies are then mailed back to you within 2–3 business days, with additional expedited shipping options available for a small fee.
