• FD-258 Fingerprint Cards – Most states require your fingerprints to be submitted on the standard FD-258 card.

• State-Specific Cards – Some states, such as Ohio, Maryland, Illinois, and others, mandate their own fingerprint cards. These are usually mailed to you.

• Florida (FDLE) Live Scan – Florida requires fingerprints to be submitted electronically using Live Scan. To complete this process, you will need to provide the correct ORI number assigned by the state.
